Koh is a Thai word for island and that means you have to catch a ferry at Koh Loi Pier. The ferry fare is 50 THB. The first ferry leaves the pier at 8 AM and the last ferry - is at 20:00. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get Koh Sichand - island where you can find a royal summer palace, Thai and Chinese-style temples, and beautiful beaches.

Main Attractions of Koh Sichang 

Chao Pho Khao Yai Shrine is sacred to Thais and Chinese. It is believed that those who worship the shrine will be lucky. Dating back more than a hundred years ago, when Chinese seamen suffered difficulties, they asked the sacred shrine for help. There is also a cave near the shrine. This Chinese-style shrine is located up on the hill overlooking picturesque view of Koh Sichang.

Cholathassathan Marine Museum is located in the precinct of Phra Chutathut Palace. There are 9 zones inside the building such as Mini Theater, Touch Tank, and Marine Ecosystem. It closes on Monday.

Phra Chutathut Palace is Thailand’s one-and-only island palace built in the reign of King Rama V in 1892. It opens daily, but the buildings are closed on Monday. Asdang Bridge named after a prince of King Rama V is the famous landmark of Koh Sichang.

Chong Kao Kard, a very famous spot of sunsets, offers magnificent views of cliffs and sea. Walking along the bridge is relaxing, and lots of locals enjoy fishing off the rocks around that area.
